These can be summarised as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You must be under 50;<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<em>(The Commonwealth requirement is 55)\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li>You must have a Bachelor\u2019s degree or either:\n<ul>\n<li>have 3 years of business experience in a NSW target sector or<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>5 years of business experience in a non-target sector.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Target Sectors\n<ul>\n<li>For Sydney, the target sectors are:\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced manufacturing<\/li>\n<li>Food and beverage manufacturing<\/li>\n<li>Agricultural technology<\/li>\n<li>Aerospace and defence<\/li>\n<li>Renewable energy and sustainability<\/li>\n<li>Emerging digital technology<\/li>\n<li>Cyber security<\/li>\n<li>Medtech<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>For Regional NSW, the target sectors are those for Sydney plus the following:\n<ul>\n<li>Technology-enabled primary industries<\/li>\n<li>Critical minerals<\/li>\n<li>Recycling and waste management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Financial Requirements\n<ul>\n<li>For Sydney, the financial requirements are at:\n<ul>\n<li>$1,750,000 Net Personal and Asset Value; and<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>$1,250,000 Turnover<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>For Regional NSW, the financial requirements are at:\n<ul>\n<li>$1,250,000 Net Personal and Asset Value; and<\/li>\n<li>$750,000 Turnover<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The business must create a minimum of two new full time equivalent jobs.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>If purchasing an existing business, you must show growth in the business since taking over through either:\n<ul>\n<li>increase in annual turnover of at least 10% or\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>increase in business assets of at least 25%.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Businesses who are able to claim points in the business innovation qualifications or 15 points for business experience will be prioritised.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We will provide updates as we receive them.
